Chess training: tactics, checkmates and endgames

Choose a chess exercise, try your moves and practise the pawn, rook and minor-piece endgames available on AiChess.

Choose an exercise in Train, or use Study’s illustrated categories for tactics, pawn endings, rook endings and minor pieces. You choose the activity; no game starts automatically.

Read the objective, check the side to move and try the position on the board. You can request a hint or view the solution. Assisted practice stays separate from independent completion so progress does not hide the help used.

After an exercise, retry or select Next exercise within the same side and filter. At the end of the sequence, return to the catalog. Available modules are introductory, not yet a complete course covering all endgames.

Train also includes Openings and Defenses: choose a named family, then its variation and subvariation beside the board, or in the mobile selector. Game review lets you open a recognised opening line in the catalog.
